A train carrying nuclear flasks has been seen arriving into Devon for the first time since 2016. It’s believed the Direct Rail Services train was captured going through Dawlish on its way to Plymouth’s Devonport Dockyard in order to carry materials related to the decommissioning of submarines away. The pictures, taken by Thomas Mills, show the Class 66 train going past the picturesque railway at Dawlish on Tuesday lunchtime (September 8) with the train going on a journey from Crewe to Plymouth Dockyards.
