Three Turkish companies who had partnered with Russia’s Rosatom on the building of Turkey’s first nuclear power station have withdrawn from the project. Company officials told Andalou news agency yesterday that they had been unable to agree commercial terms for their work. The three companies are the industrial conglomerates Cengiz and Kalyon and contractor Kolin. They signed a draft agreement with Rosatom for a 49% share in the project last June. Since then, however, the sides have failed to reach a final agreement.
