There’s still time to register for the green energy scheme Solar Together Hampshire offering high-quality solar panels at a competitive price with zero carbon emissions. As part of its climate emergency response, Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and other local authorities have joined forces to help residents make the switch to clean energy as cost-effective and easy as possible. Solar Together Hampshire is a group-buying scheme to encourage Hampshire households to install high-quality solar panels at a competitive price. Already thousands of people across Hampshire have expressed an interest in the scheme and there’s still time to benefit. Registration is free, with no obligation, at www.solartogether.co.uk/basingstoke-and-deane before Tuesday 23 March. Residents will be kept informed at every stage of the process. Once installed, the solar panels provide an ongoing, free, zero carbon source of electricity to power homes and heat water. Residents can also register to have battery storage added to existing solar panels to maximise the benefits of their system.
