PEOPLE who claim they have been bullied at Sellafield are rallying round a former worker who is mounting a legal battle against the firm. Last week, it was revealed that Alison McDermott was crowdfunding to pay for legal fees after she lodged a whistleblowing and victimisation case to the Employment Tribunal against Sellafield Ltd. Her appeal has now reached over £8,400 and is gathering support from different groups. Sellafield’s Unite the Union branch pledged £2,000 to help Ms McDermott’s cause, with Cumbrians Opposed to a Radioactive Environment also lending their support.
