Campaigners gather on Mablethorpe Beach to send a defiant message over plans to build a nuclear waste dump. “There is a lot of anger about what has been done here”. Campaigners fighting against the building of a nuclear waste dump quite literally stood side by side quite literally as they formed a ‘no nuke dump’ message on Mablethorpe Beach. Around 150 people chose to mark their opposition to the proposal on Saturday, August 14 – which would affect the former Theddlethorpe Gas Terminal. The drone shots show people forming a ‘no nuke dump’ message on the beach. Radioactive Waste Management (RWM) has flagged the site as a potential geological disposal facility where radioactive waste would be buried deep underground.
