The Scottish Greens have unveiled plans for a new deal for Scotland’s wind energy supply. The party say the deal will help meet future demand for electricity as fossil fuels are phased out, while also creating thousands of jobs. In a manifesto pledge they say they will replace existing turbines with newer, more powerful models and double the size of the industry.
