A massive nuclear research building is planned for Derby – and it could attract more businesses to the city. The multi-million pound centre is earmarked for land at Infinity Park, between Sinfin and Chellaston. If given the go-ahead, it will be operated by the University of Sheffield’s Nuclear AMRC (Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre). The Nuclear AMRC – headquartered in Rotherham – will first take up a large chunk of space at Infinity Park’s ihub complex, which opened its doors in 2016.
