Henry Sokolski: This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty (NPT) and the tenth five-year review of its status at the UN. It is one of the few treaties to enjoy almost universal adherence (150 states are members). Its supporters already are talking about the treaty’s next half-century. But will it see out the next decade? There’s plenty to argue it won’t.
