A temporary segregated cycle lane will be constructed along the south coast of Dublin as the city continues to prepare for life with Covid-19. Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown county council said the cycle lane will go from Blackrock to Dún Laoghaire. It is part of a plan to shift to walking and cycling along the coastal route to ensure social distancing. The 3.6km cycle lane will run from Newtown Avenue and finish at the Forty Foot bathing area at Sandycove.
