The companies behind proposals for a new £45 million hydrogen production hub in central Scotland have confirmed the location of the facility, which is expected to be partially up and running before next year’s delayed COP26 convention in Glasgow.

Edinburgh-based Logan Energy is now responsible for the entire hydrogen production, distribution, and refuelling process for the Belfast bus project after successfully securing three contract wins. By supplying hydrogen for public transport, the Scots firm is said to be helping drive the country’s transition to a low-carbon economy and meet ambitious net zero targets.
