A group of Greenpeace activists were able to climb their way into a French nuclear power plant, raising questions about safety and security at the facility. The French activists say all of the country’s nuclear reactors are vulnerable to attack. Four eco-activists scaled the walls of the Cruas-Meysse plant in the southeastern Ardeche region. The building they were able to gain access to contained pools used to cool highly radioactive spent fuel rods. Once inside, the Greenpeace activists set off flares.
