EDF obtained the authorization at the beginning of October 2020 to transport new fuel to the site of the EPR nuclear reactor in Flamanville. A first truck left on Monday October 26 from Romans-sur-Isère, in the Drôme, for the nuclear site still under construction, in the Channel. These nuclear road convoys are supposed to continue in 2021. This is again the case on Monday, February 1: 2 trucks left Romans-sur-Isère at 7 am and are currently traveling in the direction of Flamanville. As if the EPR was ready to go. Yet this is far, very far from being the case. Why such a rush, when the EPR is accumulating delays? EDF once again adopts the strategy of a fait accompli, despite common sense.
