Vodafone claims to have racked up £10m in cost savings and shrunk its carbon footprint by 25,000 tonnes over the past three years thanks to a raft of energy saving initiatives, which have seen its energy use plummet by 100GWh, the telecoms giant announced today. The energy efficiency improvements were achieved by optimising heating and cooling systems in offices and managing air flow to keep technical sites cool in the most energy efficient way, the firm explained.
