EDF has delayed the planned return dates of a number of its reactors in France and the UK for various reasons, the nuclear operator said late Tuesday in notes on its transparency websites. The outage at its 0.5 GW Hunterston B-8 reactor in Scotland has been extended by another fortnight to May 30, its UK subsidiary EDF Energy said. UK nuclear output remains constrained due to long-term outages at Hunterston B and Dungeness B. In France, EDF further extended planned maintenance at its Tricastin 2 and 4 as well as Gravelines 2 units by a combined nine days, it said late Tuesday.
