A civil service blunder has made the forthcoming climate change conference in Scotland vulnerable to a terrorist attack, security experts have said. Plans of the venue hosting the UN’s 26th Conference of the Parties (Cop26) were published online by mistake. It is feared that the error has compromised the safety of the 200 world leaders and tens of thousands of delegates due to gather at the Scottish Events Campus in Glasgow in November. Files containing information about secret tunnels, power generators and anti-terrorism bollards that prevent vehicles from driving onto the site were uploaded last month to the UK government website, where they were accessible to the public.
