Wylfa
POLITICAL leaders on Anglesey have drawn up plans to power Wales through the 21st century harnessing nuclear, wind, tidal and gas power. The aim is to create an “Energy Island” in a bid to regenerate the county and drive forward environmental targets for Wales. This week more than 400 acres of land around Wylfa nuclear power station went up for sale with hopes pinned on a Wylfa B being built as part of a new generation of reactors in the UK.
