Efforts to cut carbon emissions across the EU are struggling to deliver results in the face of rising transport emissions. That’s according to new data released yesterday by the European Environment Agency (EEA), which suggests while overall greenhouse gas emissions across the EU fell 0.4 per cent in 2016, they may have increased in 2017.
