President of King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy in Saudi Arabia, Khalid Al-Sultan, said the kingdom has received offers from five countries to build the first two nuclear plants on the Gulf coast. “The countries are the United States, Russia, France, South Korea and China,” Al-Sultan told a press conference in Riyadh yesterday.
