Investors in one of the UK’s only listed solar funds are in line for their sunniest ever payout this week as it prepares to unveil record dividends. Foresight Solar is expected to confirm a payout of 6.58p a share. The company’s share price reached fresh highs of £11.40 a share earlier this year after it completed a string of solar farm acquisitions to bring its portfolio to 869MW of installed solar capacity, or the equivalent of a large gas-fired power plant. The spree was backed by two oversubscribed funding rounds in 2018 which brought in a total of £106m last year.
