An off-grid mobile office cabin powered entirely by its own rooftop solar panels and battery storage has been hailed as a “world first” by project developer the Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC). In partnership with German battery storage specialists Tesvolt, CCC claims to have created the first self-sufficient, 100 per cent solar powered, 24-hour office and accommodation cabin, which has been tested for use on construction sites.
