Campaigners have raised concerns about nuclear warheads travelling through Northampton after a convoy passed an accident-prone stretch of motorway. Nuclear warheads are regularly driven from Burghfield Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE) near Reading to Coulport, Scotland, for loading onto the Trident missile submarines.
