The City of London Corporation, the body which governs London’s Square Mile, will switch to using 100 per cent renewable electricity from October this year. Announcing the move this week, City Corporation said it would generate more electricity from renewables on its own sites, invest in off-site green energy, and buy renewable power from the commercial market in order to hit the goal.
