India is on track to significantly outperform its clean energy targets as renewables costs plummet and newer power sources such floating solar arrays and offshore wind farms arrive in the country. Power and Renewable Energy Minister RK Singh said last week that he expected India to have added 225GW of renewable energy capacity by 2022, far exceeding the country’s 175GW target.
