A construction worker at Britain’s newest nuclear plant has been sacked after posting a prank Snapchat video mocking his supervisors. Alun Rees, from Wales, worked for construction company HPC for nearly two years and was working at Hinkley Point C in Bridgwater. But after he posted a series of Snapchat videos on Facebook, with the latest mocking supervisors for being lazy, Mr Rees found himself in a disciplinary hearing and was fired three days later. “It was a bit of fun, everyone was telling me to keep making them and egging me on because it boosted morale, even the supervisors,” said the former bulldozer operator told Wales Online. “I didn’t mean to upset anybody, I was just having a laugh and everybody on site loved them.”
