Fourteen workers at Hinkley Point C have tested positive for coronavirus this week – from over 1,000 tests across the workforce. Close contacts of staff members who tested positive for Covid are now isolating. Bosses confirmed all the employees were asymptomatic – and were identified because the company has an extensive testing programme. Nigel Cann, delivery director for Hinkley Point C, previously said he knew that “the movement of workers to and from our region has been an area of concern for some in the community.”
