A division of OMZ has signed a E1.5 million contract to modernize power components on polar cranes in the reactor halls at the Bulgarian Kozloduy nuclear power plant. The contract was signed by Skoda JS, a part of the OMZ-NPPEQ division of OMZ (Uralmash-Izhora Group). The work will be implemented in two stages – the crane at Unit 6 in October 2007 and the crane at Unit 5 in May 2008. The total value of the contract is over E1.5 million.
